The public hearing for Ordinance No. O-2025-01, amending Ordinance 2005-07 regarding competitive bidding requirements, is scheduled for Monday, February 17, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. This ordinance ensures the procurement and delivery of goods and services for the benefit of the Town and its residents. To secure these at the lowest, most reasonable cost, the Friendsville Mayor and Town Council require that any expenditure exceeding $40,000 be authorized only with a written contract, duly executed and approved by both the Mayor and Town Council, as well as the provider of the goods or services.

A copy of Ordinance No: O-2025-01 is available for review at the Ruth Enlow Library, Friendsville Branch, on the bulletin board in the Friendsville Post Office or at the Friendsville Town Hall during regular business hours.
