Elected to the Town Council at the age of 19 and was elected Mayor at the age of 21 making him the second youngest Mayor ever elected in the state of Maryland’s history. He was inducted into the the Maryland Municipal Leagues, Municipal Officials Hall of of Fame in 2004. He has served on the MML Executive Committee the last several years as President-elect and prior to that he served as treasurer. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2010 as District Vice President as well as serving on MML’s Communications Committee. He graduated from the Academy for Local Governance in September 2013. Mr. Schlosnagle is Past President of the Garrett County Municipalities Board of Director’s. He serves on the Tri-County Council for Western Maryland, he is a member of Grace Lutheran Church and is a Lifetime member of The Friend Family Association of America.
